Problem:
A treatment plant required a reliable and accurate chemical dosing solution for peracetic acid injection, where precision, safety, and continuous operation were critical. Solution:
A modular, skid-mounted peracetic acid dosing system was engineered in a 1+1 configuration, providing one duty pump and one standby pump for uninterrupted operation.
The skid was fully integrated and pre-assembled, incorporating precision dosing, control, and safety components, including:
• Variable-speed metering pumps with VFD control for precise on-site flow adjustment
• 316 stainless steel skid structure, suitable for corrosive and demanding environments
• BLACOH Calibration column for accurate dosing verification
• BLACOH pulsation dampener to smooth pump discharge and stabilize injection
• BLACOH Backpressure and relief valves to protect against pressure excursions and pipe blockages
• Isolated Pressure gauge and flanged connections for monitoring and serviceability
• Electrical control cabinet with indicators, control logic, and emergency stop functionality
This integrated design ensured full compatibility between components while allowing for quick installation and minimal field intervention.
