SPILLSTOP
The fully pneumatic system safely captures leaked product and automatically shuts down failed pumps to eliminate costly product loss and prevent hazardous spills. Optional warning alarm and backup pump switchover further minimize system downtime for maximum productivity.
Pump shutoff valves automatically shut down the pump in the event of a diaphragm failure. Multiple smaller AODD pumps (1/2” or 1” models) can be protected by a single SPILLSTOP by routing all of their exhausts through a single SPILLSTOP and adding additional shutoff valves for each pump. Also, it is possible to do this with larger AODD pumps, but they may experience a significant reduction in flow due to the restriction added to the pump exhaust.
Two (2) shutoff valves are recommended for high suction tank or positive flooded suction applications to stop liquid in the tank from flowing through the pump's inlet when the pump stops.
Sounds an auditory alarm alerting personnel that the primary pump has failed and that SPILLSTOP has triggered a pump shutdown.
Used to power a warning light or other electrical device when an air operated diaphragm pump has a diaphragm failure and the SPILLSTOP shuts down the pump.
